Supporting TSB All Year Round

Shjon works to fight
MS all year long
TSB riders, volunteers and supporters are the BEST! Your efforts don't stop after the 2-day ride, but continue all year round. Fifteen-year-old TSB rider Shjon Richard (left) posted a photo of the team's namesake, Kelly 'Sugarbee' Walker (below) and a donation jar at his (first) job working at Mac's Place in Longmont. Owners Keith and Teresa MacPhail are so supportive of the MS-150 fundraising they are putting this front and center in their restaurant. Way to spread the TSB love Shjon, Keith and Teresa! Thank you to all of you who support TSB to 'take the sting out of MS'.

Next time you're in Longmont, stop by Mac's Place for a delicious breakfast or lunch and meet these great people. http://macsplaceco.com/

44 TSB Riders Registered So Far

We just took a rider tally for the 2016 ride in Colorado on June 25 & 26. As of March 7, Team Sugar Bee Colorado has 44 riders registered! That's 44 people willing to rides miles and miles to take the sting out of MS. Our fundraising goal for this ride is $100K. We can do it!

There's still plenty of time to register for the CO ride, but don't wait too long. In past years, the ride was full by the end of May. The Two-Day registration fee is now $79 and the One-Day is $50. Hurry and register before the price increases again!

Thanks for Supporting the TSB Bowl-a-Thon

Mom & Pop Sugarbee want to thank all of you who attended and supported our 12th annual Team Sugar Bee Bowl-a-thon. These events could not be held or be successful without your support. You are what keeps us going to help take the sting out of MS, and have fun in the process. Thank you a million times! Buzzzzz!

12th Annual Bowl-A-Thon, February 7, 2016

It's time for the annual Team Sugarbee Bowl-a-thon on Sunday, February 7. Why do you think they call if Super Bowl Sunday? Well yes there is that other Super Bowl, but kickoff isn't until 3:30 so you won't miss a play by joining us earlier that day. All ages and skill levels are welcome to this worthy cause.

Proceeds will be used to augment the Sugar Bee's fund raising efforts for the 2016 Bike MS ride. The team's goal is to raise $110,000 in 2016. We have been one of the top fundraisers for many years and we're getting closer to the $2 million mark every ride!
  • When: Sunday, February 7, from 9:00 a.m. - 1 p.m.
  • Where: Brunswick Zone - 9751 W. 49th Avenue in Wheatridge (east of I-70 & Kipling)
  • Cost: $15 per person for three games. This includes your shoes and one door prize ticket.
  • Additional door prize tickets may be purchased before the drawings. We're lining up a bevvy of great items again this year.
  • A full service snack bar and the game room will be open, too.
RSVP by February1, to Tim or Betty at their home or cell number. If you don't have those, use our contact form and we'll make sure they get it. We need to know how many lanes to reserve. Hoping to see everyone there.

P.S. A big, big thanks to Brunswick Zone for hosting this fundraiser every year! We appreciate their support.

When and Where to Meet for the Ride

Well it's almost here...just a few more days until the 2015 MS150. Wahoo!

Saturday Morning: Meet at the starting line at about 6:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 27 and take off as a team.  Plan on arriving early and be ready.

Saturday Afternoon: Both riders and rest stop volunteers are invited to meet up at the Team's tent after the ride. Look for the bright yellow bee banners. There's usually several massage tables going to soothe those tired muscles. Get dinner or stop by the free beer garden (remember they card everyone).

Sunday Morning: Everyone starts when they want and we meet along the way at the stops, lunch and the end.
